About the Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce

Our Mission

The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce provides resources and programs to promote member business interests and enhance the business environment of the Decorah area.

Our History

Since the DACC formally organized in 1928, its focus has been clear- continue to keep the Decorah area business community strong and successful.

Today, that focus has not changed. The Decorah area continues to be a successful place to do business. Whether you're an owner or an employee, this is the right place for you!

Our Membership



The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce is the largest business organization in the region, serving 395 members in 4 states representing all types of business, industry and individuals.

Core Purposes

The DACC Board created a Bucket List of DACC Core Purposes. These are the areas the board is commited to remaining focused on that serve our mission and our membrship. Each year, the Board can return to the Core Purposes and develop strategies in each area. For the 2011-2012 year the DACC Board is continuing to implement their Core Purposes through the Bucket List.
