Inside the DACC

With a staff of 2 1/2 serving almost 400 members, it may not always be easy to see what the staff is up to on a day-to day basis. We thought you might like to peek at some of things the Chamber is connected into and how we spend our time.

"Each day offers a new experience. I may spend part of my morning in a community initiative meeting, then switch gears to respond to member calls and e-mails, follow-up with a noon board meeting, discuss grant opportunities, DACC membership or a current business issue with three drop-in visitors and wrap up my evening with a Nordic Fest or City Council meeting. My role responds to the needs of our members and the business community. It's what keeps my job interesting and the DACC everchanging." Nikki Brevig, Executive Director.
