Jennifer Sullivan is a former attorney and mom to four kids. She and her husband, Brian, moved to Decorah in June of 2013 after being in the Minneapolis area for 14 years. Both Jenn and Brian grew up in Iowa and are happy to be back! It has always been Jenns dream to have her own bakery, and since law school, a bakery named Beyond the Bar has been in the back of her mind. She is very happy that this dream is finally a reality!
The bakery was originally a home-based business, however, in October 2014 a retail location opened in Decorah, Iowa. The bakery is located at 404 West Water Street.
