Each year we have the opportunity to recognize outstanding people in our community, at the DACC Luther Awards Luncheon for the "Outstanding Volunteer Award" and at the Chamber Gala for the "Business of the Year" and "Business Professional of the Year" awards. The holidays have passed, but there's much to look forward to this winter in the Decorah area! The 322nd Engineering Battalion will return home to Northeast Iowa very soon, the unseasonably warm weather allows for many outdoor excursions, the Oneota Film Festival will draw many excited viewers and filmakers to the area, and trade and home shows abound to assist everyone in planning things from weddings to home improvements.
We also like to recognize outstanding volunteers and business achievements from the last year--watch for details on the upcoming DACC Luncheon at Luther College and Chamber Gala.
