Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce was pleased to help the City of Decorah‘s Decorah Parks and Recreation department celebrate their newest amenity – an Archery Range at Will Baker Park.
Thank you Chamber Ambassadors Ray Rinkol (Miller Law Office) and Adam Baker (Paul Hudson – State Farm Agent) for holding the big red ribbon so Park & Recreation Director Marc Holtey could mark an official opening for the range. Also in the photo Decorah Parks and Recreation Board Members Rich Gaard and Zach Kerndt, Mayor Lorraine Borowski, City Councilman Steve Zittegruen, Park & Recreation Superintendent of Recreation and Business Mallory McArtor, Chamber Director Jessica Rilling.
Sam Lewey and Drew Nielsen were acknowledged for their vision for the range and retired Park & Recreation Director Andy Nimrod was in attendance to celebrate the range opening.
The new range is open to the public between sunrise and sunset. Individuals under age 18 must be supervised by an adult. Only field points are to be fired at this range.
