The Chamber’s May 25th Young Professional event is an Intro to Pickleball. We are partnering with
Decorah Parks and Recreation and local pickleball enthusiasts (
Decorah Pickleball) to bring you a crash course in the fastest growing sport in America.
We will meet at the Decorah High School Tennis Courts (which are close to John Cline Elementary) at 430pm. Parking is along Claiborne Drive next to the courts. You can play in business casual attire (we tried it), but be thoughtful of your footwear. The court size is smaller than a tennis court but there is still some running and, if you’re ambitious, jumping. You may want to bring a water bottle or sunglasses. Paddles and balls provided courtesy of Decorah Parks and Rec. Expert Picklers will be on the courts to help everyone learn rules, scoring, and strategy. There will be both dill and sweet pickles available for your snacking convenience.
