Decorah Area Chamber was so pleased to host a Ribbon Cutting for Winneshiek County Ag. Association’s newest structure at the Winneshiek County Fair: The Lewis Lechtenberg Swine Building!
Karla & Justin Lechtenberg, together with their children Brinley, Eloise, and William, were joined by Winneshiek County Fair Board, Winneshiek County Fair Auxiliary Members, Chamber Ambassadors, Chamber Ag. Committee Members, family, supporters, and donors to honor the memory of Lewis Lechtenberg and hold space for celebration.
Karla Lechtenberg shared about the project. How two years from that day, marked the first donation. And how her and her husband had traveled to other buildings to do research and ensure a thoughtful and effective design. Check out the building this week during the Fair!
Donations are still being accepted for the Lewis Lechtenberg Swine Building and should be sent to: WCAA, PO Box 201, Decorah, Iowa 52101 with a note for the ‘Lewis Lechtenberg Swine Bldg.’
