The Decorah Area Chamber of Commerce Agriculture Committee is pleased to announce the opening of their 2023 Ag Scholarship application. Graduating seniors and NICC students are eligible to apply. This program, managed by the Chamber’s 14-person Agriculture Committee, will award two $350 scholarships to those Winneshiek County or NICC students intending to enter the Agriculture industry post-graduation. The application is available for download below or through the high school/NICC scholarship programs.
The Ag Scholarship is one of the core programs run by the Chamber’s Agricultural Committee. This group, composed of business people within the Ag industry in Winneshiek County, work on initiatives throughout the year that both raise money for their scholarship program and show appreciation for Winneshiek County producers.
The 2023 Scholarship program is currently open. Any interested applicants should acquire and complete a paper application and include a letter of reference by April 1. Applications should be turned into the Chamber of Commerce at 507 W Water St, Decorah, IA 52101. Recipients will be notified by Chamber representatives and recognized later in the year.
